Research Interests:
My research and clinical backgrounds in occupational therapy and specifically in geriatric and neurological rehabilitation, led me to conduct studies on factors that influence the ability of individuals with motor and/or cognitive deficits to participate in everyday activities. Specifically, my research focuses on understanding how people with motor and cognitive decline due to aging or neurological condition perform complex daily activities. In my studies I incorporate virtual-reality technology to simulate real life contexts while maintaining experimental control on various variables.
