Clinical Neuropsychology

The Clinical Neuropsychology program is conducted at the School of Psychology. The studies are designed for graduates in psychology and are based on a combination of brain science research and clinical work, complementary activities that enrich each other. According to this approach, the overall objective of the program is to provide students, in addition to knowledge and training in clinical therapy and diagnosis, comprehensive knowledge also in cognitive psychology and brain sciences.

In addition to psychodiagnostics and psychotherapy studies, the students also receive knowledge and training in cognitive diagnosis and rehabilitative intervention, with an emphasis on the unique needs and characteristics of a population with neurocognitive impairments. The studies prepare the student for clinical or rehabilitative specialization. Furthermore, comprehensive training in research will ensure that the students can expand their research activities later on their path to a doctoral thesis, or in fruitful collaboration with other researchers.
