Sagol Department of Neurobiology

The offered program allows outstanding students, graduates of engineering, computer science, biology, medical sciences, or other equivalent fields in life sciences and psychology, to combine integrative theoretical knowledge with intensive practical training in neurobiology research. The program focuses on studying the mechanisms in the nervous system (from the neural network level to the sub-cellular and molecular level) that are involved and support behavior.

The program integrates innovative research methods, from molecular analyses and genetic engineering, through recording electrical signals from nerve cells, to the use of brain scanners. The program is designed for those interested in brain research, behavior, memory and learning, and psychiatric disorders.
